Piora is named after Val Piora — a pristine alpine valley nestled in the Swiss Alps, sitting at nearly 2,000 metres above sea level.
The valley is home to Lake Cadagno, one of Europe's most studied natural water ecosystems — researched continuously by scientists for over 100 years.
An Alpine Biology Centre was founded there in 1994 dedicated entirely to understanding how nature purifies water.
We named our brand after this valley because it represents a simple truth: nature has always known how to filter water. We just had to pay attention.
THE LOGO
Every detail was intentional.
We didn't design a logo. We designed a philosophy.
The Elephant
The P is an elephant — trunk curling down, head forming the bowl. This is intentional.
Elephants are nature's most extraordinary water seekers. They can detect distant water sources through infrasonic vibrations — sound frequencies below human hearing — that travel through the earth into their feet and trunk.
They travel hundreds of kilometres, guided by vibration, to find the right water. Not just any water.
That is what Piora does for your shower every single day.
The Letters
The P opens as a water droplet. The A closes as a water droplet. Everything starts and ends with water.
Every letterform in the Piora logo flows like water — soft edges, no hard corners, organic and natural.
The small circle inside the P is both a water droplet and the elephant's eye — representing our 4-stage QuadraFlow filtration working inside every Piora showerhead.

The Founders
This started with Charlotte. Charlotte has had eczema since she was 3 years old. She is 28 now. 25 years of flare ups, every cream her dermatologist recommended, every diet change, every so-called miracle product. Nothing fixed it.
When I got injured playing basketball and couldn't do much except sit and think, I went down a rabbit hole. I cleaned up everything in our house — glass containers, air purifier, tap filter, silk sheets. Then I got to the shower.
We spend 8 to 10 minutes every single day in hot water with our pores completely open. In WA and SA that water carries chlorine, heavy metals, and harsh minerals — directly onto your skin, every single morning.
I tested 12 different filters. None met the standard I wanted for Charlotte. So I built Piora.
Within two weeks her eczema settled. For the first time in 25 years. Not a cream. Not a diet. Filtered water.
